Alain Hug

Head of Investment Advisory, volt by Vontobel

Alain Hug has worked at Vontobel since November 2006, and he has been Head of volt Investment Advisory since July 1, 2021. Previously, he spent eight years as a senior relationship manager in Wealth Management looking after private clients, and before that, he worked for almost seven years as Team Leader & Senior Sales in Investment Banking/Brokerage for Swiss equities.

Before joining Vontobel, Alain was employed as a Swiss equities specialist at Lombard Odier, Deutsche Bank, and for more than 10 years at UBS. In addition to various other diplomas, he acquired the AZEK ESG certificate for client advisors in 2021.
Katarina Bandur

Investment advisor

Katarina Bandur is an investment advisor with Vontobel Digital Investing. Previously, she was with Vontobel Wealth Management, where she mainly looked after international clients and Women & Finance. Katarina has over 27 years of experience in the financial sector, all of which she has accumulated with Vontobel. She obtained the AZEK certificate ESG for client advisors in 2022.
Raphael Wyss

Client Success Manager

Raphael Wyss is a senior client success manager at Vontobel volt where he has worked since December 2021. Before that, he worked in similar positions at True Wealth and Swissquote. He has a degree in Business Administration and a CAS in digital finance as well as a trader’s license on the Swiss stock exchange.
Christian Portmann

Investment Advisor

Christian Portmann is an Investment Advisor within Vontobel Digital Investing. In his role, he addresses the individual investment needs of his clients and combines the latest investment technology with personal investment expertise).
Previously, he worked for over 12 years at Zürcher Kantonalbank in various functions in Wealth Management and Corporate Banking as well as Relationship Manager for Institutional Clients. Christian holds a Master of Science in International Business and a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance and is a certified ESG analyst (CESGA®).
Sebastian Fuhrmann

Client Success Manager

Sebastian Fuhrmann has been working as a client success manager in Digital Investing at Bank Vontobel since September 2021. Before that, he worked in Germany, in customer service with the fintech company Moneyfarm, as well as with Comdirect Bank AG in the area of brokerage and trading. He holds a Bachelor of Science in International Finance from the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.

Dan Scott

Head of Vontobel Multi-Asset

Dan Scott joined Vontobel in 2017 and is Head of Vontobel Mulit Asset, serving both institutional and wealth managements clients.

Prior to joining Vontobel, Dan worked for many years at Credit Suisse as the deputy Head of Equity Research and as a Swiss Equity specialist at Kepler. He began his career as a journalist in the late 1990s, first at Dow Jones & Co as a staff reporter for the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s and DJ Newswires and later as an on-air correspondent for CNBC. Dan holds a Master’s degree from the University of Basel, where he wrote his thesis on European Integration and its impact on the European sovereign debt markets.
Daniel Maier

Head of Thematic Investing, Senior Portfolio Manager

Daniel Maier is Head of Thematic Investing at Vontobel's Impact & Thematics boutique. Before he joined Vontobel in October 2018, he held similar positions at Notenstein la Roche and at TBF Global Asset Management, a fund boutique specialising in thematic investments, as an equity analyst and portfolio manager. He holds a degree in business administration from the University of Augsburg and is a CFA® charterholder.
Jonas Jordi

Senior Pension Solutions Specialist

Jonas Jordi is Senior Pension Solutions Specialist at Vontobel Wealth Management, where he has been working since November 2019. Prior to that, he worked for Bank Lombard Odier & Co and VZ VermögensZentrum as a relationship manager. Jonas Jordi has 10 years of professional experience in financial planning and holds a Master of Advanced Studies ZFH in Financial Consulting.
Jessica Stocker

Investment Manager

Jessica Stocker started her career at Vontobel in Wealth Management in 2018 and currently works as Investment Manager. She has already been involved in several wealth management projects at Vontobel. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting & Finance to advance her professional career.
JP Britz

Portfolio Manager

JP Britz is a global equity Portfolio Manager in the Vontobel Multi Asset Boutique, where he has been working since April 2019. Prior to that, he was an Investment Analyst at Invictus Capital in Cape Town, South Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Actuarial Science and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree in Financial Risk Management from the University of Stellenbosch. He is currently in the process of becoming a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals as a Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
Romain Hohl

Portfolio Manager

Romain Hohl works as a portfolio manager in the Thematic Investment team, managing the Energy Revolution fund and other thematic investment strategies. Romain holds a Master of Science in Finance from HEC Lausanne and is also a CFA® charterholder.
Roland Bart

Senior Portfolio Manager

Roland Bart is responsible for the administration of "Vontobel Special Equities Switzerland". He joined Vontobel in 2010 as Senior Portfolio Manager and has more than twenty years' experience in portfolio management and senior positions with Swiss asset managers.
Daniel Schädler

Senior Financial Planner

Daniel Schädler has been Senior Financial Planner at Vontobel Wealth Management since July 2020. Prior to this, he worked for many years at Basler Kantonalbank and Swiss Life. He has 20 years of professional experience as a financial planner.
Jonathan Hinterwirth

Head Asset Allocation at the Vontobel Multi Asset Boutique

Jonathan Hinterwirth is a Head Asset Allocation at the Vontobel Multi Asset Boutique and has been with Vontobel since June 2018.
Previously, he worked for BNP Paribas Corporate & Investment Banking in Zurich and Standard & Poor's in London. He holds a Master of Science degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and a CEMS Master's degree.
Joël Clivaz

Quantitative Investment Manager

Joël Clivaz is a Quantitative Investment Manager at Vontobel Wealth Management, where he joined in October 2018. He has 10 years of portfolio management experience, prior to which he worked at Bank Notenstein La Roche and Vescore. He holds a Master of Science EPFL in Mathematical Sciences and is a CFA® Charterholder.
Tobias Vinzent

Head Wealth Planning

Tobias Vinzent runs the Wealth Planning department with various expert teams in financial and pension planning, estate and tax planning as well as foundations and accounting. He passed the examination to become a federally certified SME financial expert and certified financial planner. Tobias Vinzent also has a CAS in applied psychology and a Master’s in Advanced Studies in Swiss Finance (concentration: Wealth Management).
Marc Bourget

Senior Investment Manager

Marc Bourget is responsible for the portfolio management of the custom fixed income mandates. Marc Bourget has a broad experience in investment management and is a proven expert in multi-asset class mandates. Previously, he held various investment positions at UBS and Julius Bär. He holds a Master in Technology and Economics from ETH Zurich and a Bachelor in Mathematics from EPFL. Marc Bourget is a Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA).
Alexander Spillmann

Senior Pension Solution Specialist

Alexander Spillmann is a Senior Pension Solution Specialist and holds a Master's degree in law from the University of Freiburg. He has been working in the pension sector for 10 years, and since 2020 he has been providing holistic advice to private clients on all pension issues and supporting them throughout their life cycle. Thanks to his in-depth knowledge of the Swiss pension system, he is able to work with other specialists to develop comprehensive and customized solutions for both occupational and private pension plans, even in complex pension situations. Thanks to his multilingualism, he is available to clients in German, French, Italian and English.
Mario Montagnani

Senior Investment Strategist

Mario Montagnani is a Senior Investment Strategist and member of the Investment Committee of Vontobel Wealth Management. He joined Vontobel in 2010 and has more than 20 years of experience in the financial markets, with a focus on equities as an asset class. Prior to joining Vontobel, Mario Montagnani held various roles as an analyst and sector manager for the consumer goods sectors, working for financial groups such as Crédit Agricole, Julius Baer, Pictet and UBS. He holds a master's degree in finance and economics from the University of Freiburg and is fluent in Italian, English, French and German.
Thomas Trsan

ESG & Impact Investing Specialist, Senior Investment Manager

Thomas Trsan is an ESG & Impact Investing Specialist and Senior Investment Manager at Vontobel, where he has worked since 2010. He is also a member of the Vontobel Sustainability Committee and the Vontobel ESG Investment Governance Committee. Prior to joining Vontobel, he held senior positions at Horizon21 in alternative investments and at State Street in institutional asset management. He holds a Master's degree in Finance and a Certificate in Advanced Studies (CAS) in Sustainable Finance from the University of Zurich and is a CFA ® charterholder.
